Show Lions Members Hear Report On Indo-China Crisis The members of the Cel.ir City i Lions Club were given an excel-1 lent understanding of the proh- i lems and probable consequences '. of the Indochina situation at the I regular club meeting Monday j noon. Lt. Col. Homer Anderson, head of the AF ROTC unit at the Col- lege of Southern Utah, was the! speaker, and gave an informative discussion of the causes of the long drawn out conflict, and the probable effect on world peace and economy. Lt. Col Anderson was presented by I). C. Schmut, ' member of the dub program committee. In addition to the talk on Indo- I china the members also hoard j an interesting report on the Lions Club Quartet's participation in the international convention at New York last week. Riven by Reed Berrett, quartet director and accompanist. The quartet won second place in international competition, the second time the group had won this honor, in addition to placing firrst on one international contest. |
