Show SUP Little Salt Lake Chapter Holds Election Meet The members of the Little Salt Lake Chapter of the Sons of the Utah Pioneers held their annual an-nual election meeting at the Five Mile recreation camp Wednesday Wednes-day evening ; t which time an outdoor supper was held, new officers were elected for the coming com-ing year and a fine program was enpoyed. Almost 50 members of the organization or-ganization and their wives were in attendance a' the affair, with Mr. and Mrs. Paul M. Adams, who are visiting here, being special spe-cial guests, and Mrs. Adams giving giv-ing several numbers as a part of the program. Samuel J. Whitney was elected as president of the chapter for the coming year; Gates Burt was elected as vice president, and Thomas Davenport was chosen as secretary-treasurer. They will succeed Richard M. Benson as president, Mario Topham and Arnold Ar-nold Gurr, vice presidents and Wilford Durham, sec.-treas, who have served during the past year. Appointive officers whose terms expire are II. L. Adams, Warren Pendleton, Ivan Decker, John H. Pendleton, Sam Whitney and A. C. Hatch, as board members. |
