Show ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE USE OF HOUSE TRAILERS IN CEDAR CITi', UTAH BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of Cedar City, Utah: Section 1. No house trailer shall be used as a dwelling outside out-side of a house trailer camp and no house trailer shall be parked on a lot in a residential district, except under the following conditions: condi-tions: Section 2. House trailers parked in licensed house trailer parking areas should not be subject to regulation by this Ordinance. Section 3. No house trailer shall be parked outside of a duly licensed house trailer camp except ex-cept same shall be occupied only by occupants of a permanent dwelling located on a lot or by a family constructing a permanent dwelling upon said lot. Section 4. A permit must be obtained ob-tained from the building inspector inspec-tor before any house trailer can be parked on a lot other than in a duly licensed trailer camp and under no condition shall a house trailer be permitted to remain on a lot except a 'duly licensed house trailer camp, for a period longer than six months from the time of issuing of said permit. Section 5. Any house trailer parked under a permit as set forth in the next preceding paragraph para-graph shall be located in the rear yard of the lot and not closer than ten feet to any property prop-erty line and not closer than thirty feet to any street line. Section 6. Any house trailer parked outside of a duly licensed house trailer camp shall not be occupied and a permit as here inabove set forth shall not be issued until such time as sanitation sanita-tion facilities approved by the City inspector of Cedar City, Utah, shall have been installed and are in working order. Section 7. No house trailer shall be provided with a skirting or foundation or have the wheels removed from same and said house trailer shall be kept movable mov-able and any occupancy permitted permit-ted under the terms of this Ordinance Or-dinance outside a dutly licensed house trailer camp, shall be considered con-sidered temporary. Section 8. Under no conditions shall the building inspector Issue Is-sue more than one permit for occupancy oc-cupancy of a house trailer on any lot outside a duly licensed house trailer camp and under no conditions shall said building Inspector In-spector be authorized to extend the terms of any permit so issued beyond six months. Section 9. Violation or this Ordinance Or-dinance Is hereby declared to be a misdemeanor and same shall be punishable by a fine not in excess of $299.00 or by a jail sentence sen-tence not in excess of six months or both. Section 10. This Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days from the date of passing or twenty twen-ty (20) days from the date of publication, whichever date is the most remote.
