Show Mary Klleti Tait Succumbs To Heart Ailment Mrs. Mary Ellen Ta.t died at her home in Mt. Carmel, Kane County, Friday, July 10th., following an illness from heart trouble of two years duration. Funeral services were held Sunday. Sun-day. July 12th. in the Mt. Carmel Ward Chapel, with Bp. Edward T. Lamb, presiding. Speakers at the services were Ellis Bay of Kingston, King-ston, Fred G. Carroll of Ordervllle, Simon Matheson of Parowan and Bishop Lamb of Mt. Carmel. Musical Mus-ical numbers Included the opening and closing songs, "My Father Knows," and "Beautiful Home E-ternal," E-ternal," by the Orderville choir; a vocal duet, "Face to Face," by Mrs. Verna Holgate and Luvera Covington, Coving-ton, accompanied by Mrs. Hans Chamberlain; vocal solo, "That Wonderful Mother of Mine" by Inez Hoyt of Ordervllle; a vocal solo, "Rose of Tralee," by Olendon Tait of Enterprise; and a piano solo, "Oh My Father," by H. Ther-on Ther-on Salter. Invocation was by Bishop Bish-op Henry W. Esplin of Orderville, and benediction by President Chas. C. Heaton of Moccasin, toiz. Mrs. Tait, whose husband, Thomas B. Tait died ten years ago, is survived by ten of her fourteen children. Mrs. Mabel Clifford, Long Beach, Calif; Mrs. Madeline Look-ingland, Look-ingland, San Pedro, Calif.; Eugene C. Tait, Winona, Ariz.; Thomas C. Tait, Phoenix, Ariz.; Mrs. Mary T. Bay, Kingston, Utah; Mrs. Mahala R. Sorenson, Ordervllle; and Valentine Val-entine C, William C, Lindsay C, and Forrest C. Tait, all of Mt. Carmel. Car-mel. Also surviving are three sisters, sis-ters, Mrs. Elizabeth Skougard and Mrs. Rebecca Miller, Parowan, and Mrs. Emma Davis, Junction; forty-five forty-five grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren. |
