Show New Harmony Wendell Mathls returned to Fort Douglas July 15th., where he was Inducted Into the armed forces of the country. Mrs. Susan A. Pace accompanied by her granddaughter Miss Phyllis Neagle has gone to Newtoriso, Arizona, to visit with her sister, Mrs. Luclnda Lee. The two sisters have not seen each other for 55 years Henry A. Pace and family of Price are guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Pace. Mr. and Mrs. Fay Iverson were Sunday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Orant. Mr. and Mrs. Gay Hall of Ptoche, Nevada, are here visiting with Mrs. Hall's parents, Mr, and Mrs. E. II. Hall. Lester Iverson underwent an operation op-eration last week for the removal of his right eye. The operation became be-came necessary because of an in-Jury in-Jury to the eye about two months ago. The injury was endangering the sight of his other eye. Bp. and Mrs. Lyle B. Prince, Mrs. Sheldon Grant and Mrs. Dean Hall were in Cedar City Saturday on business. Mr. and Mrs. Ashby W. Pace received re-ceived word this week that a son was born at the Iron County hospital hos-pital to Mr. and Mrs. Albert Harrison Har-rison of Pinto. Mrs. Harrison was the former Miss Iva Pace of New Harmony. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Clark and family of Newcastle were Sunday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Pace. John W. Prince of Price Is here to spend a few days with his brother and sister, George F. Prince and Mrs. Eliza P. Kelsey. |
