Shannon, Milford's only doctor, who has been called to active duty with the army. Dr. Bergstrom, who had previously filed an application for a commission commis-sion in the army medical corps, accepted ac-cepted the call to serve the people of western Beaver county for the duration, upon the request of Dr. A. Cyril Calllster, chairman of the committee on procurement and assignment as-signment for Utah. Dr. Callister cited the patriotism of Dr. Bergstrom In stopping the gup in the medical outflow. A patriotic pa-triotic service greater even than that of going into army duty will result from Dr. Bergstrom's act'on, he asserted, for although he himself him-self would prefer army service, Dr. Bergstrom will perform a more Important Im-portant task in caring for residents over this large area.
