Show American Legion Auxiliary Opens Drive To Salvage Records The Cedar City American Legion auxiliary unit nas mhiicu a campaign cam-paign to gather old phonograph records in connection with the recently re-cently announced "Records For Our Fighting Men" drive. Tlie records rec-ords are to be salvaged to provide a supply of new records for soldiers, sold-iers, sailors and marines in camjis all over the world. Cedar City's quota of records to be collected has been set at 3,000, to be added to the state quota of 180,950. The records need not be h good condition, marred, cracked or broken records can be used In the program. Citizen who have records to contribute con-tribute are asked to take them to the home of Mrs. Bert Smith, 106 South 2nd. West street, or telephone Mrs. Sm'Mi, Mrs. Lloyd Allen or Mrs. Ralph Jones. |
