Show I Robert Gordon Knell ROBERT GORDON KNELL, 71, died Dec. 9, 1981 in the LDS Hospital Iin Salt Lake City He was born March 4, 1910, in Pinto, Utah, to Robert : Charles and L Isabelle Forsyth Knell. He married Vivian Wilde Dec. 23, 1937, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died Jan. 20, 1974. He was a rancher and farmer, attended Branch Agricultural College (now Southern Utah State College) in Cedar City for two years, was a member of the LDS Church and was a member of the Cedar City Elks Lodge. He is survived by a son and daughter: Kathie Smith and Mike Knell, both of Bountiful, Utah. Also surviving are six grandchildren, one greatgrandchild, great-grandchild, and three sisters: Marie Edwards of Salt Lake City, Wilma Weston of Bountiful and Inez Lunt of Cedar City. Funeral services were Dec. 12 at 1 p.m. in the New Castle LDS Ward Chapel. Burial was in the Cedar City Cemetery under the direction of the Spilsbury & Graff Mortuary. |
