At 165, Leslie Seckletstewa decisioned Cedar City's Mike Cannon and Ken Broadhead from Kanab won a decision from Charley Howell of Cedar City. Rusty Beatty of St. George lost a decision to Jim Torgenson of Kanab at 155. Chris Robb won by a TKO over John Stankosky at 145 pounds. Tex Carter of the Cedar City Boxing Club defeated George Orton, St. George, by a decision at 145. Heavyweight Stan Andrewjeski defeated Tim Kelly by a TKO and SUSC student Curtis Gallegos won by a TKO over Bryant. In the featured event of the evening, David Piper of the Cedar Boxing Club won by a TKO over Curtis Page of SUSC. The fight was a good one and saw Piper come back late to stop Page.
