Show rP Ron Messerly (left) and Joe Hoagland show off the quarter-final trophies they received last week at the Copper Classic Forensic Tournament in northern Utah. The trophies were won in the Lincoln-Douglas debate. Cedar High Debaters place high in tournament CEDAR CITY - Ron Messerly and Joe Hoagland of the Cedar High School forensics squad recently brought home quarter-finalist trophies from the Copper Classic Forensics Tournament. The meet was at Bingham, Alta and Brighton high schools. Messerly and Hoagland competed and did well in the Lincoln-Douglas debate. The squad also competed in debate, oration, extemporaneous speaking and legislative forum. |
