Show Redmen girls lose three contests OREM - The Lady Reds saw action in three separate contests during last week. The first game pitted CHS against Orem and the Tigers defeated the Girl Reds 69-36. When the first quarter ended and Cedar was losing 20-0. the Girl Reds knew they were in for a long game. CHS was given a quick lesson in this, their first game of the season. Tori Brinkerhoff lead the scoring against Orem with 16 points. Paula Sawyer chipped in eight. The JV team also lost to Orem's JV. The final score was 60-23 and Wilma Tsosie and Tracy McLeroy were high scorers with seven points each. Last weekend CHS traveled north to play American Fork and then Timpview. Cedar lost to both teams. Stacey Taylor scored 11 points against American Fork to lead the scoring for the Reds. Against Timpview Jill Rollo racked up 18 points and Paula Sawyer was close behind with 16. |
