Show Macscr Eloise Alien Parker Phone 789-2178 1 Residents fly to Craig, Alaska Edna and Alton Vernon flew to Craig, Alaska where they spent 12 days with their son Glen and Lorraine Vernon and eight children. Glen is the City Administrator of Craig. Edna said, "It's beautiful country, coun-try, rains a lot and everything is very green." Greg and Donna Rae (Anderson) Frandsen and four children from Ken-newick, Ken-newick, Washington were recent visitors at the homes of Wallace Anderson and Kenneth Fisher and the Norman McGregor family. The Andersons, Fishers and Frand-sen's Frand-sen's spent a few days at the Jeremy Ranch in Parley's Canyon. Harold McKee spent a week in the local hospital after an accident he had while irrigating on his son's farm. He is at home now and doing fairly well. Mrs. Merlin (Kay) Richens had surgery recently at the St. Marks Hospital in Salt Lake City. She is at home now. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Albloni and daughter Jill from Ogden spent last weekend with the Richens family. Ted and Iona Williams and Enid and Boyd Hatch drove to Springville to visit Boyd and Jean Williams. Ted and Boyd are Enid's brothers. Then they drove up to Lehi to visit Jerry and Jean Hatch and family. Monique and Bobby Peabody of Dinosaur have a new baby daughter born July 8. She weighed in at 5 lbs. 15 oz. and will be named Belinda Desiree. Grandparents are Doug and Carol Jean Hatch and Walter and Jean Peabody. Great grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Earl Massey and Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Hatch. Anna Oldham spent three weeks in Grand Junction, Colo, with her son Jim and Evelyn Oldham and family. They have a new baby son born July 1, weighing 8 lbs. 8 oz. and will be named nam-ed Tony Clark. Grandparents are Thorald and Lucile Rich and Anna Oldham. Bishop and Mrs. Wayne Jenkins and three of their eight children from Monroe spent three days at the Boyd and Enid Hatch home last week. Visitors at the Anna Oldham home throughout last week were Dr. Kenny Ashby and family from Sandy, Gwen Aycock of Fort Collins, Colo., Lu Deen Winegar of Riverton, Virginia Johason from Salt Lake City and Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Wright of Orem. One hundred fifty descendants of Joshua Hall met Saturday, July 16 at the Hall Homestead in Dry Fork for their bi-annual family reunion. The day's festivities began with a country breakfast under the trees for nearly one hundred family members. The children participated in races, games and a parade wilh the adults joining the fun with horseshrx; pitching contests and volleyball. One of the highlights of the afternoon was a drawing for handmade gifts donated by family members. A dinner and program was the climax of the day fur the Hall family t |
