Show By Joan Janes Monday, Jan. 18 there were 125 attending at-tending dinner and enjoying each others company. Aaron Wilkins announced an-nounced Wilkins Transportation is planning a trip to the World's Fair in Knoxville, Term. Bingo winners for the week of Jan. 12 were Alice Mott with six games and Lorna Holmes with five games. These ladies are off to a good start for the year. Blood pressure clinic for the month will be Jan. 25 from 1:30 to 4:30. Menus for Friday, Jan. 22, Monday, Jan. 25 and Wednesday, Jan. 27 are as follows : Friday: Spaghetti - meat sauce, mixed vegetables, salads, garlic bread and strawberry Bavarian dessert. Mondav : Roast beef, potatoes and gravy, peas and carrots, salads, rolls, butter and cake and ice cream. Wednesday: baked fish fillets, scalloped potatoes, green beans, salads, blueberry muffins and chocolate cream pie. Smiles were everywhere as a nice crowd enjoyed the dance Friday night. A get well card was signed for good friend Nora Nelson who will have surgery at McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden. A card was also signed for Vena Wardell, drummer for Newel's Harmony Har-mony Four. She spent several days in Ashley Valley Medical Center last week due to an infection. Good wishes go out to her. Taking her place for the dance was Don Smith. The crowd really enjoyed the harmony sax. Thanks Don. Lula Chew was back with the dance family and she felt good enough to try a few waltzes. Bless your heart, Lula, it's good to have you back. See you all again at the dance Friday night. |
