Show claims m me uisuici uiupcu d.i Independent Whiterocks Branch made A Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Latter-day Saints independent branch was organized at Whiterocks Sunday, March 2 under the direc tion of Regional Representative Glade M. Sowards. President of the new Whiterocks Branch is D. Blayne Morrill with counselors Shirley Ainge and Stephen Paulson and clerk Allen Haslem. Arvin Bellon, Roosevelt West Stake President conducted the business at the reorganization meeting. Other leaders included John Millecam and all of the Stake Presidency and High Council from the Roosevelt West Stake. Bishop Morrill has served as Bishop of Whiterocks and Neola Wards for over 15 years and eight years on the High Council. He was a former Uintah County Commissioner and school board member. Counselor Ainge, a foreman for Moon Lake Electric Association is a former Jensen resident. Counselor Paulson is also formerly from Jensen and has an insurance agency in Vernal. Haslem is a CPA with Casperson accounting firm of Roosevelt. |
