A visitor at the Karl Migliori home was Susan's father, Russell Waterman, from Price. He came last Wednesday and spent three days here. Floyd and Betty Jo Hall took her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Batty, to Logan to visit for a few days with the Clair Batty family. That was the second time he has received this recognition. Mrs. Wanda Jorgensen entertained the Variety Club at her home last Thursday. The hostess served a luncheon lun-cheon and the eight members present spent the evening playing Canasta. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Lambert recently spent a six weeks vacation in California Califor-nia visiting their children. They first flew to San Diego to see their son, Donald, and his wife, and enjoyed some balmy 80" weather, but they were there during the heavy rains and also a slight earthquake. They then went to visit their daughter Enid and her husband, David Lafferty, in Woodland Hills, their son Doyle in Orange, and son, Dean, met them at the airport and brought them home to Vernal last week. Marian A. Behunin attended the funeral of her aunt, Sadie Haymaker Boyce, wife of promenent Montana cattle cat-tle rancher, Steve Boyce, in Havre last week. While there she visited with her mother, Edna Wilson, who is in a rest home in Havre. She visited her uncle, Clint Bradbury, in Chester, Montana, who is also in a rest home. Both relatives are in poor health. She returned return-ed to Salt Lake City Tuesday where she joined her husband, Newell and attended attend-ed the funeral of Johnny P. Wilde, 15, stepson of Bill Behunin, former Vernal resident. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Taylor have had their young grandson, Nicholas, here for nine days while his parents, Tim and Becky Branscomb, have been taking tak-ing a sunny Caribbean cruise. Among those from Vernal area who went to Provo to attend the funeral recently of Sherwin Anderson were his grandmother, Mrs. Sarah Martinsen, her son, Lynn Martinsen, and his son, Dennis and his wife, Mrs. Diane Merrell Mer-rell Mrs Oral Goodrich, Mrs. Ruby McCarrell, and Reed and Reva Anderson Ander-son Relatives from other areas who came were Grant and LaVar Anderson from Arizona, Charles and Pearl Martinsen Mar-tinsen and their daughter, Joyce, and her husband, WM.
