Show 'COOPERATION IN SCHOOLS IS SUBJECT OF MEET Representatives of the Nebo District Dis-trict Teachers association and the school board met recently at Salem, Sa-lem, to discuss methods of better cooperation, it was reported this week. John C. Moffitt, superintendent of Provo city schools, was the speaker and expressed the opinion that our complex society demands more cooperation than ever before among the school boards, teachers, parents and communities, if public schools are to equip our children to face and solve the problems of peace and security. Raymond . Peterson of Spanish Fork, a teacher at Salem Junior high school, presided at the meeting, meet-ing, which , was the first of its kind to be held this year. Others are planned for the future, it was annoimced. , |
