OF C, MEMBERSHIP DRIVE REPORTED ' NEARING COMPLETION With 65 percent of the Springville Spring-ville Chamber of Commerce membership mem-bership already in, the membership member-ship drive is expected to be completed com-pleted soon under direction of Chairman Grant Thorn, it was announced an-nounced Wednesday, following the first meeting of the Chamber directors. The directors will conduct regular regu-lar meetings on the - second Man day of each month, at 7:30 p.m. in the Chamber office, according to Harrison Conover, president. It was also announced at the close of the meeting, that the retail merchants committee will be set up at once so that they may begin functioning. A Merle Sargent is chairman. Other committees com-mittees will also be set up as soon as the membership is completed. In the meantime questionnaires will be sent out giving members a chance to express -their preference for a committee. G. Lowry Anderson, past president, presi-dent, has been appointed a national na-tional councilor; Howard May-cock, May-cock, reappointed treasurer and J. A. Miller, secretary. |
