Show COUNTY METING OF SOCIAL WORKERS SCHEDULED Delegates from nine central, eastern and southern counties of Utah will meet m Provo Jan. 30, for a three-session regional convention con-vention of the Utah Conference of Social Work, LaMar Andrus, Utah county child welfare supervisor and chairman of the event, announced an-nounced Tuesday. The conference will be attended by delegates from Utah, Juab, Wasatch, Uintah, Duchesne, Carbon, Car-bon, Emery, Grand and San Juan counties, and will feature discussions discus-sions by prominent Utah educators and experts in the social field. The meetings, to be held at 10 a. m., 12:15, and 2 p. m., in the Joseph Smith building on the BYU campus, are open to the public. Mrs. Reya T. Leavitt, president of the Utah conference of social work, will speak at the initial meeting after which local social workers, university professors, members of judiciary, doctors and others will address the delegates. |
