Show I IAVC YOU A SUGGESTION? I Last week Springville city officials asked citizens of tke town lo write them their ideas and suggestions concerning means Ly which the garbage disposal problem of this city could he solved. Did you send in your suggestion? Neither j did we. And yet there must Le some good suggestions and worthwhile methods by which this problem could be solved. The city officials would like to know how you think the problem could be solved. If your solution is better than the way the affair is being handled at present, or if it is more workable, it might be adopted for the betterment of all concerned, con-cerned, j ' Perhaps you prefer being assessed a small fee each month and have the added service. Or do you see the service serv-ice of garbage collection as a community project in whicb all should participate and the expense be taken care of in a small tax levy? Or perhaps you are a large property owner and taxpayer, you have no ashes, very few cans and eat most of your meals out, and you believe the service should be paid for by those who use it, or perhaps you prefer to remove re-move your own cans and ashes to the dump grounds, which are fast filling. What then? Your idea on the subject would be appreciated. But remember, if you have no ideas or suggestions, any kind will be better than none at all, so don't look disgruntled if after a few weeks or months study of the suggestions which did come in, one is adopted which doesn't at all meet your approval. Remember you didn't do anything for'or against it. ' |
