Show COUNTY REACtiES 80 PERCENT OF 1947 BOND QUOTA Utahns purchased 91 of the state's $23,000,000 U. S. savings bonds sales objective during 1947, Earl T. Ross, state director, announced an-nounced this week. This amounted to $20,942,641, he said of which $15,377,098 was invested in-vested in series E bonds. Series F bond investments were $437,443 for the year and series G, $5,128,-100. $5,128,-100. Four counties, San Juan, Weber, Davis and Sanpete, exceeded their sales objective, Mr. Ross pointed out, while Box Elder and Salt 5Lake exceeded the state average. San Juan county led the state with a record 128 of its goal. Approximately 75 of the sales, however, were made in Salt Lake and Weber counties. Salt Lake sales were $11,304,530 and Weber sales were $11,278,253.
