Show REED AVERETT IS ELECTED FEDERATION PRES. Reed Averett, local barber and sports enthusiast, was elected president of the SpringviUe Wildlife Wild-life Federation here last Thursday night at a meeting of the group. Ralph Child, retiring president, was elected vice-president, with Glenn Hansen being re-elected as secretary and treasurer. Newly-elected board of directors were: Maurice Anderson, George Wilson and Fay Jensen, and Douglas Doug-las Bills, Mapleton. Retiring board of directors who served last year were: Virgil Hafen, Jim .Long, Ed. Averett, J. D. Ford, Bill Cox, Fay Jensen. George Wilson was vice-president of the group during the past year. Besides electing officers and conducting a social, the group' delegated dele-gated a group to attend a meeting held in Salt Lake last Sunday. This delegation assisted in the retaining re-taining of Henry M. Weight on the big game control board for this year. Mr. Weight was a member during the past year. |
