Show FUNERAL TODAY IN PROVO FOR FORMER RESIDENT Funeral services will be conducted con-ducted today, Thursday at 1:30 p.m., in the Manavu ward chapel, Provo, for Mrs. Sebrina L. Crop- oft - " Li j MRS. REYNOLDS per Reynolds, 65, wife of Mark A. Reynolds, who died Monday, at a Provo hospital. She has been in ill health for the past year. Mr. Reynolds has operated a paint store here for several years. A former resident of Springville, Spring-ville, Mrs. Reynolds was born in Deseret, Millard county, May 5, 1882, a daughter of Thomas Waters and Hannah Rogers Crop-1 Crop-1 Per- She received her education in Deseret and at the Brigham Young Academy and began teaching teach-ing in the Springville schools in 1901. In 1902, she was married to Mr. Reynolds in the Salt Lake temple. They made their home in Springville until 1906, when they moved to Ogden where Mr. Reynolds Rey-nolds became associated with the John Scowcroft Co. In 1910, they moved back to Springville and in 1921, to Manti, returning to Springville in 1925. They moved to Provo in 1929. , Mrs. Reynolds was a faithful member of the LDS church. In Springville she was a member of the Relief society stake board for four years. She served as secretary of the Springville library board until the library building was completed, and later taught in the speech department of Springville high school. More recently she taught at the nursery' school in Provo. She was prominent in literary circles and gave many public readings. read-ings. Since moving to Provo she has been active in the Manavu ward as a class leader in the Relief Re-lief society and a teacher in the MIA. Surviving besides her husband are three sons and a daughter, Allen C. Reynolds, Beaver; Thomas Thom-as V. and Mark A. Reynolds Jr., Provo, and Mrs. William V. (Hannah) (Han-nah) Oldroyd, Provo; 23 grandchildren; grand-children; four sisters, Mrs. Willard R. Johnson, Aurora; Mrs. Robert L. Ashby, American Fork; Mrs. Arthur Reeve, Hinckley, and Mrs. Wilford Pratt, Nephi; one half-brother, half-brother, Marion Cropper. Elsinore. Friends may call at tne family home Thursday prior to services. Burial will be in the Springville city cemetery. |
