Show GREAT POWER AND BEAUTY OF LINE I CHARACTERIZE NEW CHANDLER MODELS ; VXA ' : - - j s i!t One of the handsome new Chandler touring models shown Tjy C. A. Quigley, 33 Exchange place, distributor of handler automobiles. I Chandler automobiles, which, it is claimed, have dominated the field in their class for many years, are this season repeating their phenomenal success suc-cess in a nationwide selling season, the volume of which is reflected in the distribution dis-tribution of new Chandlers in this territory ter-ritory by C. A. Quigley, 33 Exchange place, representative of the Chandler cars in the Salt Lake district. "The popularity of the Chandler is easily traceable to the fact that it is the most closely priced fine automobile on the market, ' ' said Mr. Quigley. ' ' Instead In-stead of taking a liberal profit allowed by the class of automobile, as compared com-pared to other fine cars, the builders of the Chandler have sought to place their product in the possession of the greatest possible number of users, confident con-fident always that the performance of the car, as well as its handsome appearance, ap-pearance, will suffice to keep it away up in the market. "The Chandler automobiles this season sea-son surpass their predecessors in many respects, although the Chandlors have been known for years as among the very finest cars on the market. Consistent progress, however, has been the rule at the Chandler factory, where the engineering en-gineering and mechanical forces are never content to rest on laurels gained in the past, but always strive to make noteworthy improvements in every row model. "It will be noted this year that the Chandler seems to be a bigger car and a more graceful car. This is due to little niceties of body design, which have kept the hood at a high level and maintained a clean sweep in line from radiator to the back of the tonneau. The long wheel-base serves as the foun-' dation for many touches of beautj' in body building, and the ample space allowed al-lowed in the Chandler has been taken advantage of by the expert designers. ' ' The open cars, universally popular, are now being run a close Tace in every make of automobile, by the closed models mod-els such as the coupes, redans and limousines. The Chandler closed bodies present just about the last word in closed car construction, and day after day are demonstrating, by the volume of ' sales, that their popularity, as touring tour-ing and city driving automobiles is not a passing fancy, but a leal sensible appreciation of the many advantages offered by closed ears, especially for ycar-around driving." |
