Show LANCE CREEK BRINGS IN 1000 BARREL WELL A new 1000-barrel gusher was brought in In the Lance Creek field Sunday on the Cactus company's lease, which was being drilled by the Midwest Refining company, according to the "Wyoming State Tribune. The well came in at &955 feet, with the tools seventeen feet in the sand, and & gas pressure so strong that oil is spouting spout-ing over the top of the derrlok. It is located lo-cated on the same contour as the discovery discov-ery well, and is on the southwest quarter quar-ter of section 28-36-64, three miles east and half a mile north of the discovery well on section 36-36-65. The bringing in of this well increases the productive area of the Lance Creek field by a strip of territory three and one-half one-half miles long and more than a mile wide, and definitely proves section 23 and a large part of section 29 to the West. The productive area ends, say geologists, on the lino of section 28. The Lusk Royalty company owns a 10 per cent royalty on this well, while the Lance Creek Royalty company, the Royalty Roy-alty & producers' corporation and the Exploration OH and Gas company all own smaller.
