Show State Society a dinner party in honor of Mrs. Henry Krumb tomorrow evening. Mrs. P. D. Woodard has returned from Salida, Colo., where she spent the summer, sum-mer, Miss Ann O'Brien has returned from Reno, where she was the guest of Dr. and Mrs. Rodney Hall Richardson during dur-ing the summer. Mrs. Ben Firman has returned from a vacation trip spent in Salt Lake and P. J. Goumond and son. Harold, will leave for the east next week. Mrs. Goumond will spend several weeks in Omaha. Neb., and her son will enter Stan-ton Stan-ton Military academy in Virginia at the beginning of the semester. I ELY, NEVADA . . ELY, Xev. Sept. 6. Mrs. Robert Allen, who spent the summer in Ely as the guest of her mother, Mrs. W. C. Gallagher, left Monday for her home in Globe. Ariz. Mrs. Gallagher accompanied Mrs. Allen. Mrs. J. C. Wheeler and Miss Mabel Wheeler left during the week for Dee Moines, Iowa, to spend three months. Mrs. H. A. Comrus will be the next hostess to the Saturday "'500" club. Mrs. Josephine Pearl'entertatned dinner guests Thursday evening. Mrs. Nealy i Chapn is spending sev- eral weeks in California. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Smith gave a din ner to friends in compliment to Mrs. Henry Krumb, Sunday evening. Covers were laid for Mr?. Krumb. Mrs. Josephine Pearl, Mr. and Mrs. George Whlteley. Miss Agnes Fox was the hostess at a dinner party given in honor of Miss Mabel Ma-bel Wheeler, Friday evening of last week. In addition to the honor guest, covers were laid for the Missed Cleora Murdock, Carrie Riepe, Harriet Grier, Mildred Wet-more, Wet-more, Charlotte McEwing and Carroll Morrill, Verner Fox, Harry Wilcox. Creighton Whitmore, Daw Edwards, Robert Rob-ert Burns and Larry Sullivan. Dr. and Mrs. Joseph A. Wallace and Mr. and Mrs. Bodell returned Wednesday from an a u tomobije trip to Elko, where they witnessed th6 races. Miss Esther Rumba ugh has returned from her summer vacation spent in California Cali-fornia and Reno. Mrs. Lucy EHihropo of Keno returned with M'ss Rumba ugh to spend a week. Mrs. Arthur Knecht left Sunday for a pleasure trip through California and the northwestern states. Miss Laura Gallagher left Wednesday for Cleveland. Ohio, where she wil make her home with her brother. Lieutena nt Charles D. Gallagher. Miss Gallagher was the. guest, of honor at a number of social affairs before her departure. The luncheon given by the Woman's club at the home of Mrs. J. F. Miles, with Mrs. Fred Clark also sharing the honor, was a delightful occasion, as was the dance given bv Mrs. Alfred Proctor, Mrs. Orval Baird and Miss Fannie Cupid, Friday evening eve-ning ofast week. The Eastern Star also gave a card party hi Miss Gallagher's honor, and Mrs. J. F. Cupid save a dinner din-ner partv. The Misses Violet te and Florence Gallaeher accompanied Mi?s Gallagher Gal-lagher east, where they will attend school. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Murdock. Miss Cora Murdock. Mrs. Van Newman.
