Show WILL RERUN 200-METER 200-METER RACE MONDAY NEWARK, N. J., S-ept. 6. Failure to catch the corrpct time in the 200-meter run of the National Pontathlon, or all-around all-around championship, here today caused the Amateur Athletic union track officials to decide upon rerunning that part of the event next Monday. This is necessary in order to break a tie for first place between Jack Fritz of the New York Athletic club and Bernard IJchtman of the Tastime A. C, New York. Each had a low score of seven points. Michael Devnney of the Mill rose A. C, New York, won the national two-mile steeplechase event in 10 minutes, 17 2-5 seconds. |
