Show UTAH MEN IN FILMS TO BE SHOWN SOON Camera Men Leave for Camp Lewis and Camp Kearny to Augment Official Of-ficial War Pictures. Moving pictures of the daily life of Salt Lake men at Camp Lewis, in Washington, and Camp Kearny, Cal., j will be shown among tho first of the official government war films. This was assured yesterday when Fred C. Richmond, director of the bureau of films of the state council of defense, authorized O. C. Hanson and R. E. Woods, moving picture camera men, ! to take the films. Mr. Hanson and Mr. Woods left for Camp Kearnv yesterday. yester-day. Later .they will visit Camp Lewis. Records of the intimate daily life of members of the old First Utah, now the 145th field artillery, at Camp Kearny, and the ,'164th infantry, at Camp Lewis soon will be ready for displav in Utah! The first consignment of official films ' from the offices of the committee on public information at Washington, D. C, is expected to arrive at Salt Lake I this week. |
