Show Coffee Futures. NEW YORK. March 28. The market for coffee futures just about lost yesterday's yester-day's rally during today's trading as a , result of renewed liquidation and a little i trade selling. Demand was less active after yesterday's covering movement, while the bearish view of statistical conditions con-ditions and the approaching new crop movement seemed to be strengthened by lower milreis prices in Brazil. The market mar-ket opened at a decline of 2 to 5 points, with July selling off to 7.70c and December Decem-ber to 8.00c during the early afternoon. or about 7 to 10 points net lower. The close was n shade up from the lowest on : covering, showing a net loss of 4 to 7 points. Sales, 42,000 bags. Sales of 10.000 hags of Santos 4s were reported at 9Vc cost and freight, American credits. The official cables showed a decline of 75 reis at Rio. Santos spots were 100 rels and futures 50 to 100 rels lower. |
