The freshies copped the other contest from the seniors, sen-iors, 13 to 1, in another peculiar struggle. strug-gle. In the seven innings the sophs did not get anything1 resembling a hit. Mac Pyke scored the only run for the sophs, this not being earned. While the sophs were straining their backs and sending little grounders to the infield, the Juniors hit Barker all over the field. TLancock had the best percentage with the willow, while Brown worked well in the fielding line, numerous chances being be-ing sent to his territory and .being absorbed ab-sorbed in a greedy manner without a miscue. A three-base hit by Adolph Axelrad proved the longest hit of the game, while Bill Cummock, Jim rushing and Ben Hite also made long drives. Hlte and Axelrad starred in the field.
