Show BISHOP'S VIEWS ARE INDORSED BY CLUB OF FORMER STUDENTS At a special meeting of the Toung Men's Commercial club, the membership of which Is composed of former students of the Salt Lake high school, voted last night to indorse the position taken by Bishop Faul Jones in protesting against the United States being Involved in an European war. It was resolved that he-fore he-fore this country called upon the young men to uphold the constitution of t he United States the question of entering into a sanguinary conflict should first be referred to a referendum vote. The resolutions reso-lutions were signed by the president, Lawrence D. Robinson, and vice president. presi-dent. H. R. Johnson. The club has a membership of over twenty young men. The club was organized last September by some of the young men graduates of the high school. |
