Show S10.000 MESS FUND DRIVE ENDS TODAY - jj . i i Society Girls to Tag" Citizens Citi-zens Preceding Concert in Big Tabernacle. Today will mark the culmination of the $10,000 drive to provide a mess fund for the Utah soldier boys who will leave shortly for the battle fronts of France. More than $4000 has already been subscribed sub-scribed by local merchants and business houses and it is expected that the remainder re-mainder of the $10,000 will be received by the close of today's activities. Approximately 125 society girls have offered of-fered their eervices to parade the downtown down-town districts and sell tags in order to swell the fund. Already 7000 school children chil-dren have been enlisted in a ticket-selling campaign and will report tonight. Each child is expected to sell one ticket. The climax of the campaign will be a concert for the benefit of the enlisted men in the tabernacle tonight, following a parade of the members of the Utah field artillery from the fort to the temple tem-ple grounds. It is expected that at least 4000 tickets will be tuken by the friends and relatives of the boys. This will mean ! a dollar a month for each man for ten I months.
