A largo representation of the 500 members mem-bers of the Indies' Literary club was in attendance at a buffet luncheon opening the club meetings for iie year, served fit the clubhouse yesterday afternoon at 1 o'clock by the entertainment committee commit-tee of the club. The regular club meeting meet-ing followed, with the inaugural address of the president, Jlrs. The clubhouse was a bower of autumn blossoms. In the main auditorium, where luncheon was served, the stage in one end of the room and the balcony in the other were outlined with sunflowers. Vases of varicolored asters, dahlias, Ken las and colored marigolds were used on the stage, along the serving table and In the drawing room. The entertainment committee served the luncheon to the large number of guests with great ease. The committee includes Mrs. A. B.
