Show PACKING COMPANY SITE OBTAINED Special to The Tribune. PROVO, Sept. 14. The Provo Commercial Commer-cial club lias purchased six acres of land from D. J. Vincent which will be exchanged ex-changed for six acres owned hy Mrs. .Joseph .Jo-seph A. Smith, and the six acres thus secured will be turned over to the Go 1-riard 1-riard Packing company for a ?lte for the branch packing house to be built here. President George W. Goddard of the packing company writes as follows to Secretary Arch M. Thurman of the Commercial Com-mercial club, under date of September 4: "As soon as you have given us a deed to the properly at Provo we will commence com-mence work on the building of our factory in your city. "Thi.s work should commence the earlv part of next month. Within the next week or so we should have the preliminary pre-liminary plans and an estimate as to :he cost. This plant, equipped, will cost be- j tween fO.i'OO and $75""i0. as near as we can estimate it at this time, and will be built of reinfon-ed concrete, brick and tile and clas-s. and will be without douht tle finest plant of its kind in the state of Utah." |
