Show MIDVALE f 4 : : : : MIDVALE, Dec. 9. Members of the Five Hundred club were entertained Monday Mon-day afternoon by Mrs. Olef Olson. The prizes were awarded to Mrs. Howard E. Phelps, Mrs. D. Almond Drown and Mrs. Mose Garff. Mrs. William O'Brien will be hostess to i the members of the Mldvale Literary club : Friday .'afternoon in the Methodist church. 1 Mrs. D. Almond Drown entertained a ; number of friends at a bridge luncheon at 1 her home this evening. 'Mrs. Ray Fenn, Mrs. L. M. Donelson and Mrs. Andrew Larson were awarded prizes. Mrs. Alma A. Goff spent Tuesday and Wednesday in Salt Lake visiting friends. Members of the Plate club were enter- t allied Thursday afternoon by Mrs. N. August Pierson. Mrs. Neil L. Olson will entertain the members of the Jordan "TJ" club at her home Tuesday evening at 7 o'clock. A Christmas programme will be conducted by Mies Lucile Thurman. Tuesday afternoon Mrs. Howard 15. Phelps entertained a number of boys and girls at her home at a birthday party for her little son, Eugene. It' was his fifth anniversary. Thursday evening Mrs. L. M- Donelson entertained a number of her women friends at a bridge luncheon. Miss Belle Stagg spent last week In Salt Lake the guest of Miss Edna Brown. Next Thursday afternoon the Ladies' Aid society of the Methodist Episcopal church will give a bazaar, and dinner will be served In the evening. The members of the Mid vale Danctnp club gave the first of a series of dances Tuesday evening in the Imperial hall. The members of the C. C club will be entertained next Monday evening by Miss Mabel Nelson at her home.
