Show I PARK CITY - PARK CITY, Dec. 9. Mr. and Mrs. Victor Vic-tor Carlson entertained at dinner Sunday, complimentary to Mr. and Mrs. Charles Workman, Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Jefford, Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Carlson, Mrs. Charles Moore and Miss Daisy Moore. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Sutherland returned re-turned from their honeymoon Sunday and are now at home to their friends-Mrs. friends-Mrs. A. Campbell of Boise. Ida-ho, and Mrs. A. Davis of Salt Lake are guests at the home of Mrs. Glen Wentworth. Miss Isabell Buck and Miss Henrietta Shields returned to Salt Lake Sunday, after a few days' visit with their parents. Mrs. Ellen Neil entertained the Golden Hour Sewing club at her home on Norfolk avenue Tuesday evening. The guests "present were the Mesdames Victor Carlson. Carl-son. Mabel Treguma. C. T. Jefford and MiBs Irene JeflordV The Woodmen of the World entertained their friends Wednesday evening with cards and dancing. Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Turner of Charleston were guests at the home of Mrs. Jerome Paxton this week. The Women's Athenaeum was entertained enter-tained at the home of Mrs. Cash Faulkner Monday afternoon. The paper for the day, "Water Power and Navigation," was read by Mrs. J. L. Frazee. Several selections selec-tions on the Victrola were given. The next meeting will be held at the home of Mrs. J. L. Frazee. The Knights of Columbus entertained their friends Wednesday evening at Society Soci-ety hall. The evening was spent with cards and dancing. The Pleasant Hour club was entertained enter-tained by Mrs. Frank Brunyer Wednesday Wednes-day afternoon. The members present were the Mesdames Rose Maxin, Lee Bartlow, John Potts, A. Fife, Henry Wright and Fred George. Mr. and Mrs. John Crane entertained the Octagon 500 Card club at their home Thursday evening. Those present were Messrs. and Mesdames E. M. McGinley, Archie Wilson. Zack Oblad, L. M. Muir-brook, Muir-brook, W. A. Raddon and C. E. Faulkner. Mrs. Sherman Armstrong entertained the Senior Girls' Friendly society at her home Wednesday evening. Those present pres-ent were Mrs. H. S. Townsend, the Misses Birdie Beatty, Elizabeth Martin, Bessie Urie, Anna Paul, Esther Dunbar, Hilda Wilson, Margaret Urie, Marion Dunbar and Laura Huddv. The evening was enjoyed en-joyed with games and music. Refreshments Refresh-ments were served. The Social Hour club was entertained at the home of Mrs. Arthur Hansen Wednesday Wed-nesday afternoon. The members present were the Mesdames E. Waddoups, C-Ence, C-Ence, Ezra Workman. E. Daniels, Samuel Kidder, Fay Evans, R. Siddoway, Murray-Davis Murray-Davis and E. Malin. The Junior Girls' Friendly society held Its regular meeting Tuesday evening at the home of Miss Erma George. Mr. and Mrs. Max Sutherland, who have been visiting with relatives in -Provo, returned home this week. |
