Show ELECTRIC BALL TO EE TOOELE FEATURE Special to The Tribune. TOOELE, Dec, 9. The Woman's Literary Lit-erary club of Tooele gave an 1 electric ball at the Tooele opera house last evenlne in observance of the nation wide celebration of Electric week. Officials Offi-cials of the public service corporation cooperated co-operated and had booths in which electrical elec-trical devices were demonstrated. During Dur-ing the evening a representative of the Westinghouse Electric company gave an address on the development of electricity and its importance in the national life of today. The ballroom was decorated in green and white, the club colors. An electric dome was arranged, overhanging the floor. It was illuminated with colored electric lights. Home-made candles and refreshments refresh-ments were distributed from the various booths around the dancing floor. Miss Mary Young, domestic art teacher at the high Bchool, was in charge of the candy booth. Mrs. William Marks presided pre-sided over the refreshment booth. The card tables were In charge of Mrs. S. J. Merrltt, Mrs. E. O. Sourwine and Mrs. L. A. McBride. The reception committee comprised Mrs. Paul Feddereon, Mfs. Robert Page, Mrs. Harry Raymond, Mrs. Marlon Lee, Mrs. J. G. Yensel. Mrs. L. A. Hanks, Mrs. Kirk Bond, Mrs. J. D. Woods, Mrs. C. E. Anderson, Mrs. S. T. Carma.n and Mrs. Joseph Russell. Music was furnished by Professor A. M. Nelson's orchestra. |
