Show OGDEN MAKES PLANS FOR MUNICIPAL TREE I i Special to The Tribune. : ; OGDEN, Dee. 9. At a meeting held in the Weber club this morning arrangements arrange-ments were made for the annual municipal Christmas tree celebration to be held in Central park. The special committee of club women appointed several weeks ago is composed of Mrs. R, B. Porter,- chairman; chair-man; Mrs. E. O. Wattis, Mrs. Mary Mat-son Mat-son and Mrs. Edward Bischel. James P. Casey, secretary of the Ogden publicity bureau, T. Earl Pardoe and James Woth- , erspoon were added to the committee to- ! day. It was agreed that the city commissioners commission-ers will have charge of arranging for the Christmas tree proper. Mr. Casey and Mr. Wotherspoon will have charge of the distribution of candy and Mr. Pardoe will supervise the arrangement of a tableau. It is planned to have a chorus of several hundred voices for the) singing of Christmas Christ-mas carols. |
