MONT FISHER TENDERED POSITION BY CHAMBERS Fred W. Chambers, slalo fish and gamo commissioner, has tendered T. Mont Fisher, a depuly in tho county treasurer's office, tho position of fish and gamo commissioner for district No. 2, comprising this, Davis, Tooele, Utah and Juab counties, with headquarters in this city. Fisher has not signified his intention lo accept yet, but it is understood that he will do so, as the position is a good one, paying $1000 a year in salary and $600 expense money to carry tho commissioner over the district. Fisher's answer is expected Monday, as tho placo must be filled by June 1 the next day. Tho five other district wardens or commissioners were appointed several days ago. but the appointment for the Second district was left out. for the reason that a fight for tho position was being mado by the other counties. The tendering of tho appointment to Fisher means that Salt Lake county has won out in the fight.
