While in Ogdcn to- day, Governor William Spry expressed llv himself as being opposed to the removal jfHx of hc slate capital from Salt Lake to SLHf Ogdon. The govemor says that as Salt y Kg Lake Is the largest city of tho state, and B$ is represented by many thousands of llTKl dollars more assessable property than uny other city, it is the logical place for the capital to bo located. With those BKf reasons the executive declared that It jKr -would be unconstitutional to remove tho w capital from Salt Lake, as tho state con- SMLr Ftltutlon provides that the seat of gov- iiWwr rrnment shall v be in Salt Lake, and a UUn change could iot be effected unless a vBW constitutional convention is held and the , uHK constitution amended.
