Show PROMINENT DENVER MEN ' ARE UNDER INDICTMENT j DENVER, May 29. The federal grand Jury late this afternoon returned indict- ' ments against the officers of the Union, Land company and others interested in. coal lands in Routt county, Colo., charging charg-ing them with conspiracy to defraud tha j government out of coal lands. 1 The land involved in the indictments aggregates 13,000 acres, and the valuo I is said to reach $1,000,000. j Those Indicted are Charles S. Millard,, president of the Union Land company: ' Thomas B. Alin, vlco president; Frank McDonough. Sr.. secretary and counsel for tho company; Henry V. Kcpncr, In. charge of the department of chemistry : of the Denver Manual Training high, school, and Bogil L. Smith. ( All the above named live In Denver. In addition. Samuel G. Adams of Steam- ' boat Springs, Colo., was indicted, ns waa A. L. Pollard of the Rugby Coal Mining company. Mr. Pollard lives in Denver. j None of the men indicted arc undr 3 arrest.
