A comunication received recently by the Sail Lake Real Estate association from .'John Uildor, secretary of the Grand Rapids, Mich,, Board of Trade, slates that ho has been deputed by the board of trndo to visit a number of cities of tho west in tho interest of civic improvement, and ho hopes to arouse there a larger enthusiasm for the bcau-tifie.af.ion bcau-tifie.af.ion of tho cities and to stimulate an interest in (hose things which make for better conduct of municipal affairs as they rclato especially to tho socialogi-cal socialogi-cal problem of liioso communities. Tho cities included in tho itinerary are: St. Louis, Kansas City, Denver, Colorado Springs, Salt Lako City, Reno, Oakland. Berkeley, Sau Francisco, Portland, Olympia, Tacoma, Seattle, Victoria, Spokane, Duluth, Minneapolis, St. Paul, Red Wing, Dos Moines, Chicago, Chi-cago, Gary. Cleveland aud Detroit. .During the trip. Mr. Sites says that ho passed through the city a short timo ago aud was creatly plcasod with its appearance.
