Show UTAH OIL COMPANY TO HAVE $100,000 PLANT Arrangements for the completion of the new $100,000 plant for the recently incorporated Utah Oil company are now well under way and construction work will bo pushed as rapidly as possible At the present time tho site has been purchased on Fourth West betwoen Eighth and Ninth North, construction of the necessary buildings hns been started and several carloads of machinery machin-ery havo already been received. Refining Re-fining stills, condensers, agitators, receiving re-ceiving and storing tanks, bleachers and filters will bo constructed in tho location and arangements made to take caro of the entire output of tho Pittsburg Pitts-burg and. Salt Lake compan. which owns fifteen wells in tho vicinity of Evanstou, Wyo. Tho fact that the quantity of wax extracted from tho oil will bo about 90,000 or 100,000 pounds per month will necessitate the erection of a candle factory. These candles are cxpoctod to have a ready sale throughout tho mining min-ing districts. In addition to tho wax there will bo quantities of cyclindor and high-grade automobile oil, carp oils and. oils for farm machinory produced. It is also t expected to produce a high-grado high-grado oil for electric transformers. Officers of the company aro Josoph R. Murdock of Heber City, president; Josso William Knight, vice president; J. C. Howard, secretary and treasurer. These, with William, Rirrison. W. O. Spier and B. C. Mitchell of Pittsburg, and F. J. Fabian of Salt Lako, constitute consti-tute the board of directors. |
