Notice Is hereby given by the clly I council of Salt Lake City nt iho intention inten-tion of such council to make tho following fol-lowing described Improvement, to wit: To grade, and gutter and curb with cement, Jefferson street between Eighth Soutli and Ninth South streets. In paving pav-ing district No. 23, and defray tho abutters' abut-ters' portion of tho cost and expense thereof, estimated nt ono thousand tlvo hundred and eighty-four (515SI) dollars, or ono land 20-100 ($1.20) dollars per front or linear foot abutting said improvement, im-provement, thero being 1320 feot of abutting property, by a local assessment upon the lots or pieces of ground within with-in the following described, district, being be-ing tho district lo bo affected and benefited bene-fited by said Improvement, namely: The west sldo of lota 2 to 21. inclusive, inclu-sive, block 1; and tho cast sldo of lots 1, and 22 to 41, inclusive, block 2, Walker's subdivision, block 5, plat A, Salt Lake City survey.
