With his body litcrall' burned into a crisp by several thousand A'ollsof electricity, Fred M. Bramwell. tho thirtoen-vear-old son of John S. Bramwell, of 2tiS Ilarrisville avenuo, was lifted from the wires of tho. Tollurido Power company's high tension line just east of the Stato Industrial In-dustrial school lalo this afternoon and sent, to Larkiu k Sons morgue. Tho boy, with two companions, Ttob-ort. Ttob-ort. Van Sweden and James Brown, had gone into tho foothills to play. Seeing1 tho steel towers, recently installed by tho Tollurido Power company to support sup-port tho high voltago wires running between be-tween Logan and Salt Lako City, the Bramwell lad considered it. would be great sport, to climb to tho lop. lie started, and his companions, although of tender age, evidently had soino idea of his danger und' warned him to come down. Tho Bramwell lad continued to climb until ho reached tho top. when ho caught ono of the wires iu his hand. Instantly his whole body was enveloped in flames. His companion?, terror-stricken, terror-stricken, rushod to tho Industrial school and spread tho alarm. Fred Rngolko and Harold Taylor, men employed at. the school, followed the boys to the spot whore their companion "had been electrocuted. elec-trocuted. Aftor much trouble, tho boy's charred remains wero lifted from the wires aud brought to tho. city. Judgo J. D. Murphy, tho acting coroner, was notified, but it had not been determined tonight whether an inquest, in-quest, will' bo nccesMiry. The body of Iho unfortunato lad is burned black from his hands to his foci. Death was instantaneous, as soon as t.he boy's body came in contact with tho high voltage wires. The lad is survived by his parents and several brothers and sisters. |
