CONCRETE CONTRACT AWARDED TO DOYLE Special to The Tribune. OGDISX, Nov. 13. Tho first of the several contracts to be let by tho Davis & Wcbor Counties Canal company for tho concreting of tho water course a distance of ono and one-half miles, has been awarded to William Doyle, whoso bid covers two miles of the canal which embraces the most troublesome portions. Including the grading work, tho contract con-tract will, for this stretch of canal alone, involve the expenditure of about $50,-000. $50,-000. Other contracts for tho concrete work along tho entiro course of tho canal will bo awarded lator. The total cost of putting put-ting in a concruto tloor and sides for the enliro canal will reach a sum close to a half-million dollars. A largo number of men and twenty teams arn employed along tho sides of tho canal grading the points where the concrclo will bo placed.
