In many ways the structure is a feature of tnc city, especially becauso H it marks Iho first attempt to extend tho businegs section of tho city beyond the H old limits lo tho eastward, and bocauBC Hj il represeiits iu its style a number of H !:UurcH which have been used only in tas'' of tho Newhouse buildings. The Lynch building is to bo three stories hidi, with a basement, and will have a frontage of ninety feet on both Second South and Second East streets. The 1"" entrance will bo from the former street. It is constructed of brick and stone with a steel frame. Tho lower low-er floor and tho basement of the building build-ing aro of fireproof construction, w'ith concrete floors and walls. The lower floor and basement have already been rented to the Studebaker company for use as an automobile salesroom sales-room and storage warehouse. "The handsome entrances will bo tiled and the interior of tho building will be finished fin-ished in birch-stained mahogany. The main entrance on Second South street will he ornamented by a handsome overhanging over-hanging marquise of copper, Tho structure -will bo ready for oe eupancy by oarlv spring and will cost about $100,000.
