The Granite high school football team of Salt I.ako went down to defeat at tho hands of the Ugden high school eleven on the Glen-wood Glen-wood Park gridiron this afternoon by the close score of (1 to 5. Both touchdowns touch-downs were mado in the first, half, Og-den Og-den securing the first, afler a few minutes min-utes of play. in the second half the ball was seesawed see-sawed from one end of the field to the other, frequently changing possession bv reason of fumbles. When the mf-ei-ec's whistle blew, ending tho game, the ball was on Granite's live-yard line, and in lhe possession of the Ogden team. Half-back Evans of the Ogden team mado the touchdown and Moran kicked the goal. Leggruan. the negro fullback, mado a sensational fifty-yard run for a touchdown, but the effort to kick goal failed. Ogden made five unsuccessful efforts during tho game to kick goals from the Held. Tho officials of the game were; Lieutenant Lieu-tenant Elliott, referee: Lieutenant Dixon, Dix-on, umpire; E. J.
