Shepard Tuesday In honor of Miss Bee Hydo nnd Miss Dwycr of Salt Lake, who have been visiting the past month at Logan. A delicious chntlng-dlsh lunch was served and the afternoon was much enjoyed by all present. Bishop William .Preston has been visiting visit-ing the past week In Logan with his daughter. Mrs. R. L. Martineau. Mrs. Wlllard Langton entertained at a very delightfully appointed luncheon at tho A. C. college on Saturday. Tho table was beautifully arranged with (lowers and greens, and Mrs. Langton's guests wero Mr. and Mrs. Georgo W. Thatcher, Mr. and Airs. Guy Thatcher. Mr. and Mrs. Lancton. Miss Hyde returned to her home in the city Saturday morning, after a visit of a month with Log-.m friends. . Tho pleasant features of tho ovcnlng wcro games and music, and the gucstB wero so enthusiastic that it made all the amusements amuse-ments very Interesting nnd exciting and, as many expressed themselves, more than enjoyable. Light refreshments wero served during the evening. Miss Kate Dwyer returned to her homo Saturday, after a pleasant visit of two weeks with Logan friends. V V Miss Virginia llouts returned from Og-den Og-den Monday, after a visit of a. wook at her home. Tho Agricultural College club met with Mrs. H. D. Sytcr Monday afternoon. French masters wero taken up. "Medial Colonvlo" was given by Mrs. Ostlon, "Joan Garyon" by Mrs, Preston, "Plorro Pugot" by 'Arm. Snow, "Jean Lemoyne" by Mrs. Smith. Punch wns served by Mrs. Syter during tho afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. 1. B. Nash or Franklin are the guests of their daughter, Mrs. W. C. Parkinson, of this city. Thomas J. Mcintosh of Sale Lake was a. guest at the Hotel Lincoln during the week. R.
