Show MANTI FOREST RESERVE GRAZING PRIVILEGE GREATER Special to Tho Tribune EPIIRAJM, March 5. Tho cattle-owners and farmers of the cities In Sanpote and Emery counties will bo greatly pleased to learn that Supervisor A. Y Jensen of tho MantI forest reserve has secured from tho Department of the Interior a modification or tho order rclatlvo to tho number of horses and cattlo to bo allowed on tho districts numbered f and 6 of tho Mantl forest reserve. Tho following telegram from tho department was received yestor-duy yestor-duy by Supervisor A. W. Jensen; "Washington, D. C. March 4 A. W. Jensen, Forest Supervisor, Ephralm, Utah. Seven thousand cattlo and horses allowed al-lowed In district 5 ftnd 5200 In district 0; 300 additional In other districts, making a total of 19,500 in reserve. "J. H FIMPLE, Acting Com. " Tho total number of horses and cattlo to be grazed on district No. 5 was, beforo tho modification was received, 4000. On district 6, 2000 head woro allowed. Tho now order permits S200 head of animals, Including horses and cattle. |
