Sheriff Harmon arrived ar-rived homo this afternoon from Sanpcto county with Alexander Jennings, who 13 charged with arson. The prisoner has engaged counsel and was arraigned bc-foro bc-foro Justico Noon nnd his bonds fixed at $1000. Ho was unablo to furnish ball today, to-day, but expects to do so on Monday. Before being released It will be necessary neces-sary for him to furnish separato bonds in Salt Lako county, as he Is also under arrest ar-rest by Sheriff Emory, charged with burning the Highland Boy boardlng-houso boardlng-houso last September at Murray. Jennings denies his guilt and savs ho will havo no troublo In proving his 'innocence 'inno-cence on both charges. Tho officers think differently, claiming that they have strong cases against all four of the prisoners. J. H. Ilolliinan and Frank Wilson, who confessed to having llred the two buildings build-ings under tho direction of Jennings, will bo arraigned Monday. |
